Clare and Tipperary registered Electric Ireland Munster MFC wins on Monday evening.
Donnacha O'Dwyer's 56th minute goal sealed a fine victory for Clare over Limerick in Quilty.
Before that major, Clare had edged 0-15 to 1-7 ahead with O'Dwyer sealing the deal.
Jamie Crowley's 23rd minute goal put Limerick 1-3 to 0-5 in front, but the impressive Conor Burke replied with a two pointer.
Clare led 0-8 to 1-4 at the interval, and enjoyed a productive spell after the restart.
Ned O'Meara's last gasp goal decorated Tipperary's triumph over Waterford at Fethard Town Park.
At half-time a dominant Tipperary outfit were 0-10 to 0-3 ahead.
Ten minutes into the second period Aaron Curran netted a goal for Waterford, but Tipperary responded.
