St Mary's 1-16 Queens University 1-9
St Mary's finished with a real flourish to defeat Queens University at Davitt Park.
Niall McKenna and Seán Rock were in brilliant scoring form for St Mary's, who hit the front with 11 minutes remaining.
Ryan McQuillan's first half goal ensured Queens led by 1-6 to 0-7 at the interval.
Mary's, though, responded after the restart with Rock's late goal sealing an impressive win.
In Round 2A, St Mary's will meet TUD, while Queens face University of Galway in a knockout encounter.
