2024 Provincial Football Championships draw

The draw for the 2024 Provincial Senior Football Championships took place this afternoon and threw up some tasty ties.

None more so than the Ulster SFC Quarter-Final between reigning champions Derry, now managed by Mickey Harte, against neighbours Donegal, now managed by Jim McGuinness.

Tyrone, Monaghan, and Cavan are all at the same side of the draw, so there’s the potential for Mickey Harte to face his native Tyrone in an Ulster semi-final.

Reigning Munster champions Kerry will play the winners of Cork and Limerick in the Munster semi-final. On the other side of the draw Clare will play the winners of Waterford and Tipperary in the second semi-final.

In Leinster, reigning provincial and All-Ireland champions Dublin will play the winners of Longford and Meath in the quarter-finals. On the other side of the draw, last year's beaten Leinster finalists, Louth, will play the winners of Carlow and Wexford in the quarter-finals, in what will be new manager Ger Brennan's first championship match in charge.

In Connacht, Sligo will play Leitrim in the quarter-finals while Roscommon are straight through to the semi-finals. Already confirmed was that New York will play Mayo and London will play Galway in the quarter-finals.

In the semi-finals, Roscommon will play the winners of Mayo and New York while the winners of Sligo and Leitrim will play the winners of London and Galway.
