UL advanced to the Independent.ie Sigerson Cup Semi-Final following a win over DIT.

Level at 0-6 each at the break, UL responded following a good DIT start. The visitors led by 0-6 to 0-2, but UL rallied to go in on terms with Brendan O'Keefe and Gearoid Hegarty influential.

Liam Irwin put DIT ahead early in the second half, but UL defended in diligent fashion.

Niall McDermott, Fergal Boland, Hegarty, and Michael Geaney landed vital scores for UL, who face UCD at the penultimate stage.
