Monaghan’s Jack McCarron is this week’s GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.

Jack McCarron (Monaghan)
Brought on as a sub after 11 minutes, Jack McCarron proved to be Monaghan’s hero as they defeated Galway after extra-time in Sunday’s Allianz Football League Division 1 relegation play-off. The skilful McCarron hit seven points, including a dramatic winner at the death that retained Monaghan’s Division 1 status.
Jemar Hall (Armagh)
Jemar Hall excelled for Armagh in their Division 1 relegation play-off against Roscommon. He scored three points, but it was his Duracell bunny work-rate throughout the game that really caught the eye.
Sean Furlong (Wicklow)
Sean Furlong was the main man for Wicklow as they produced the shock of the weekend by defeating Ulster champions Cavan in the Division 3 relegation play-off. He scored 2-3 and was a real thorn in Cavan’s side throughout the match.
