Mickey Harte has been appointed as the new Louth senior football manager on a three year term.
Louth GAA has also confirmed that Gavin Devlin will act as assistant manager.
Following a successful stint earning Tyrone national glory at minor and Under 21 level, Harte steered the Red Hands to All Ireland senior titles in 2003, 2005, and 2008.
Harte stepped down from his role with Tyrone after the recent Ulster Championship loss to Donegal and will now succeed Wayne Kierans as the Louth boss.
A statement released by Louth GAA said: "We would like to give Mickey and Gavin a very warm welcome to Louth and we look forward to working closely with them over the next three years."
