Holders Offaly produced a dynamic display to overpower Carlow by 4-13 to 0-6 at the Faithful Fields.
With Kildare defeating Laois 2-16 to 3-11 in a thriller, Offaly will now face the Lilywhites at the penultimate stage next Thursday evening at O'Connor Park.
Keith O'Neill impressed for Offaly, who moved into a 1-9 to 0-3 lead by the 21st minute.
Darragh Flynn and John Furlong added further goals for Offaly, who held a commanding 3-9 to 0-4 half-time advantage.
Eoin Murphy added a fourth Offaly goal in the 42nd minute as Declan Kelly's charges cruised to victory.
Kildare shrugged off a spirited Laois side at Hawkfield.
Early on the home team were motoring smoothly as Dean O'Donoghue's goal edged them 1-3 to 0-0 ahead in the fifth minute.
Daniel Lynam scored a second goal for Kildare, but Paddy Hosey replied with a Laois major.
In in action packed match Darren McEvoy supplied a second Laois goal as Kildare went in 2-9 to 2-5 ahead at the break.
Lynam and Eoin Bagnall were prominent for Kildare, who conceded a third goal to Seán Fitzpatrick with 13 minutes remaining.
Laois narrowed the gap down to a single point, but Bagnall provided a last gasp score to seal victory for Kildare.
Dublin staged a dramatic second half comeback to edge out Westmeath by 1-15 to 1-10 at Parnell Park.
Westmeath, who led by 1-9 to 0-5 at the interval, only landed one second half point as Dublin took command.
A goal in first half stoppage time from Peter Pierson capped a brilliant start by the midlanders, who led by seven points at the turnaround.
Four minutes after the restart Ryan O'Dwyer netted a goal for Dublin, who acquired belief and momentum.
Seán Kinsella, David O'Dowd, and Fionn Murray clipped points reducing the deficit to the minimum.
Ben McGauran replied with a 44th minute point for Westmeath, who failed to score again as Dublin delivered in style.
Murray, O'Dwyer, and Luke Breathnach contributed points as Dublin eventually prevailed.
