Setanta announce live Allianz League fixtures

Dublin's Paul Flynn and Kerry's David Moran were in Dublin on Wednesday to announce details of Setanta Sports' 2016 Allianz Leagues coverage.

The action gets underway on Saturday, January 30 as reigning league and All-Ireland champions Dublin take on Kerry under the lights at Croke Park. The game is live on Setanta Ireland from 7pm.

The other live match on the opening weekend sees Down face Donegal on Setanta 1 also from 7pm. In total Setanta Sports will broadcast seventeen live games across this season's Allianz Leagues with eleven football games to be shown as well as 6 hurling matches.

All-Ireland winners Flynn and Moran were also announced today as ambassadors for Setanta's GAA coverage this league season.

Speaking ahead of the event in Dublin, Brian Quinn, Marketing Operations Director at Setanta Sports, commented; "Our Allianz Leagues coverage has become a mainstay of our spring schedule and we're delighted to be the first place you can see top class, live league action each weekend."
