LAOCHRA: Behind the Scenes
GAA.ie takes a behind the scenes look at the making of LAOCHRA, our 1916 commemorative show which took place following the Allianz Football League Finals on April 24, 2016 - the 100th anniversary of the 1916 rising. We hear from some of the volunteers who played their role in LAOCHRA, as well as some of the performers including singer Liam Ó Maonlaí, actor Patrick Bergin, legendary GAA commentator Micheál Ó Muircheartaigh, artistic director Ruán Magan, as well as GAA President Aogán Ó Fearghail who reflects on what the show meant to everyone across the GAA community and Irish people both nationwide and across the world.
