Noel McGrath has been named as the Tipperary senior hurling team captain for 2023.
On Monday evening new Tipperary manager Liam Cahill and his selectors confirmed a panel featuring players from 25 clubs for a return to inter-county training on November 24.
McGrath, the gifted Loughmore-Castleiney clubman, made his Tipperary debut in 2009.
McGrath has won three All-Ireland titles and four Munster SHC medals withTipperary, while also earning All-Star awards in 2009, 2010, and 2019.
Thurles Sarsfields' Ronan Maher will be Tipperary's vice-captain for the upcoming campaign.
