The public has voted Tony Kelly the GAA.ie Hurler of the Week.

The Clare star received 4,901 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page which put him ahead of Stephen Maher of Laois (1,828) and Marty Kavanagh of Carlow (1,411)

Tony Kelly ran riot for Clare in their Munster SHC victory over Waterford. He scored 13 points, four of them from play, and popped up all over the pitch to win possession and use it cleverly.

Stephen Maher

Stephen ‘Picky’ Maher was on fire for Laois in their Joe McDonagh Cup win over Kerry. He scored 1-12, 1-5 of which came from play.

Marty Kavanagh

Marty Kavanagh fired Carlow into the Joe McDonagh Cup Final with a haul of 14 points against Offaly, six of them from play, and also set his team-mate Conor Kehoe up for a vital goal.
