Competition: Electric Ireland GAA Hurling All-Ireland Minor Championship

Fixture: Galway v Wexford

An Lár Choiste Cheannais na gComortaisí (Central Competitions Control Committee) took Disciplinary Action against Ian McGlynn, arising from the contents of the Referees Report, alleging a breach of Riail 7.2 (b) Misconduct at Games by Players Infraction, Category III T.O. 2019, that is to say “Striking with a hurley, with minimal force”.

Ian McGlynn requested a Hearing which took place on the 8th August 2019. An Lár Choiste Éisteachta Éisteachta (Central Hearings Committee) found the alleged infraction not proven.

Therefore, no penalty was imposed, and the Committee ordered the players record to be amended accordingly

Hearing 2 of 3: Aaron Dunphy (Laois)

Defending Party: Aaron Dunphy | Laois

Competition: GAA Hurling All-Ireland Senior Championship

Fixture: Laois v Tipperary

Venue: Croke Park

Date: 14th July 2019

An Lár Choiste Cheannais na gComortaisí (Central Competitions Control Committee) took Disciplinary Action against Aaron Dunphy, alleging a breach of Riail 7.2 (b) Category III T.O. 2019, that is to say “Striking with a hurley, with minimal force”.

Aaron Dunphy requested a Hearing which took place on the 8th August 2019. An Lár Choiste Éisteachta Éisteachta (Central Hearings Committee) found the alleged infraction proven.

Minimum Penalty Imposed: One Match Suspension in the same Code and at the same Level, applicable to

the next game in the same Competition, even if that game occurs in the following year’s competition.

Aaron Dunphy has the option of appealing against the decision of An Lár Choiste Éisteachta to An Lár Choiste Achomhairc (Central Appeals Committee).

Hearing 3 of 3: Gary Boyle (Donegal)

Defending Party: Gary Boyle (Maor Uisce)| Donegal Competition: GAA Football All-Ireland Senior Championship Fixture: Donegal v Kerry

Venue: Croke Park

Date: 21st July 2019

An Lár Choiste Cheannais na gComortaisí (Central Competitions Control Committee) took Disciplinary Action against Gary Boyle, alleging “Breach of match regulations, unofficial entry onto the field of play” as a Maor Uisce in contravention of Match Regulation 2.9 of the “Regulations governing the Organisation and Presentation of Inter-Club Championships, Inter-County Championships and Allianz League games”.

Gary Boyle withdrew his hearing request before any Hearing took place. Therefore, An Lár Choiste Éisteachta Éisteachta (Central Hearings Committee) found the alleged infraction proven.

Penalty Imposed: Withdrawal of Sideline Privileges for one match in the Senior Inter-County Championship as outlined in Regulations 2.3 to 2.11 of the “Regulations governing the Organisation and Presentation of Inter-Club Championships, Inter-County Championships and Allianz League games”.

Gary Boyle has the option of appealing against the decision of An Lár Choiste Éisteachta to An Lár Choiste Achomhairc (Central Appeals Committee).
