FEXCO Asian Gaelic Games Review

More than 700 players playing for 60 teams played 200 games over the weekend of October 12/13 at the 2013 FEXCO Asian Gaelic Games in Kuala Lumpur.

The Middle East lifted several pieces of silverware, including the Derek Brady Cup for Senior A men. Qatar were boosted by Donegal All Ireland winner Ryan Bradley and Armagh's Michael Stevenson.

Shanghai Ladies ended Singapore Lions' 4-year winning run in a superb Ladies Final.

But it wasn't just about competition. The Asian Games was a coming-together of Irish and non-Irish from across a vast area for a superb weekend of friendship and fun.

'It was an outstanding fantastic success', said Asian County Board Chairperson Joe Trolan.
