Two brilliant players have been rewarded with Player of the Month awards following their exceptional performances throughout June. Clare’s Tony Kelly and Seán O’Shea of Kerry are named as PwC GAA/GPA Player of the Month award winners for hurling and football respectively.

Tony was at his sensational best as Clare powered to Munster SHC quarter-final victory over Waterford, notching another 1-12, including 0-5 from play, to go with his many other big individual tallies in major matches.

Seán pulled the strings in the Kerry attack once again as the Kingdom finished joint-League winners along with Dublin and then brushed Clare aside in the Munster SFC, his 1-7, including 1-4 from play, catching the eye.

The PwC GAA/GPA Players of the Month Award winners are voted for by the GPA’s membership.
