Frank Shovlin

Frank Shovlin talks about his life supporting Donegal and Mayo football. After collegue he moved to Oxford for his PHD and he describes the setting up a Gaelic football team in the University of Oxford and the GAA in Oxford and in Liverpool. He reflects upon the GAA and his Irishness, professionalisation and he insists on the role of the GAA amongst the Irish Diaspora particularly in relation to university Gaelic football in Liverpool. He makes several comparisons between Gaelic Games and soccer.
