Gerard McNamara

Gerry McNamara discusses his underage and adult sporting career with St. Joseph’s Doora-barefield in Clare, as well as his involvement, at an early age, in club administration. McNamara also charts his move to Limerick and the role of Mungret GAA in integrating him into his new surrounds. The interview also includes commentary on hurling styles and organisation – on divisional lines - of Gaelic games in Limerick city and county.
