Jack Dunleavy
Jack Dunleavy talks about his memories of the Kilrush Shamrocks club. He remembers the local football games in the 1920s, highlighting the excitement when the parish teams would win. He explains that this was often counter-balanced by disappointment at inter-county level with the Clare footballers. He talks through his own playing career for club and county. He also refers to his involvement in administration for the club and gives some insight into the characters on the County Board at the time. He recounts some of his favourite memories of the GAA and gives his ideas as to how the association has changed and how it should change.
