GAA Regional Youth Forum
This year see’s the GAA Youth Forums take to the road, landing firstly at the The Dome, Semple Stadium, Thurles on Sept 6th and Bush Hotel Carrick on Shannon on Sept 27th from 11:00am to 3:00pm.
The National GAA Youth Committee are extending an invitation to young people aged 12 – 21 years to attend a Regional GAA Youth Forum. The forum is open to all Gaelic games members from the GAA, LGFA and Camogie Association.
The day will include a mix of chat, debate, discussion and craic! Led by the National GAA Youth committee those in attendance will be encouraged to share their opinions and experiences of Gaelic games, both on and off the pitch. Those who attend, will receive a GAA Youth Forum merch pack!

PLEASE NOTE: If you are under 18 years of age, it must be a parent/guardian that completes the details on your behalf.
What to Expect on the Day

11:00am – 11:15am | Youth Committee presentation – Welcome/Opening/Context/Expectations |
11:15am – 12:00m | General discussion – Identify youth challenges/opportunities; What’s missing; What is there? What does the future look like? |
12:00pm – 12:30pm | Idea & Themes – Potential solutions to challenges; Ways to elevate what is already there; Organise thoughts and experiences |
12.30pm - 1.15pm Lunch - Hot meal will be provided on the day! | |
1:15pm – 1:25pm | Summary of morning session/ activities for the afternoon |
1:25pm – 2:10pm | Idea Discussion – debate and discussion on ideas; decisions on ideas to bring to National GAA Youth Committee/GAA Youth Congress |
2:10pm – 2:30pm | Player Panel – Youth Intercounty Players |
2:30pm – 2:45pm | Summary of the day; next steps for attendees & GAA Youth Committee |
For all those who attend a regional Youth Forum, there will be a chance to come to Croke Park in November for GAA Youth Congress where the recommendations discussed at the regional youth forums will be further debated and decided upon. This process will support the National GAA Youth Committee in their actions and reporting to GAA Congress.
